Choose A or B, and write an essay with a clear statement of thesis and specific, detailed evidence to support it (typed, double-spaced, minimum 750 words in length) .A. In his Poetics, Aristotle calls spectacle the “least artistic” and least essential element of drama. Why? Do you agree with this assessment? Illustrate your answer with specific examples from at least two dramatic productions (film or play).B. Dramatic irony is a technique reliant on a difference of knowledge between the characters and audience, producing tension between what characters say and do, and what the audience knows to be true. Discuss the use of dramatic irony in two dramatic productions (film or play). Cite specific instances where dramatic irony is employed, explain how the effect is achieved, and show how its use relates to larger themes in each work.

For this assignment you will be using the given data for a sample of 30 inmates

For this assignment you will be using the given data for a sample of 30 inmates of the Polk County Jail. 1. Use a Simple Linear Regression to find the regression equation that predicts weight (lbs) from height (inches). Note, ″weight″ will be the dependent variable (y) and ″height″ will be the independent variable (x). Round slope and intercept to the nearest hundredth. (2 pts)
2. Perform a t-Test for the regression slope of the data to determine if the data fits a linear model using alpha = 0.05. Include each of the following.
a. Check the conditions and assumptions for this test. Explain your reasoning.(2 pts)
b. Write your null and alternative hypotheses.(2 pts)
c. List the test statistic and P-value. (2 pts)
d. Decide whether to reject or fail to reject the null and state your conclusion. (2 pts)
3. Find a 95% confidence interval for the mean weight of an inmate who is 6 feet tall (72 inches). Explain in this context what the confidence interval tells us. (2 pts)
4. Consider a person who is 65 inches tall and weighs 200 lbs.
a. Use your regression equation from Question 1 to find the residual. (Show your work.). Would you consider this person to have a large residual? (2 pts)
b. Does this person have high leverage? Why or why not? (2 pts)
c. Is this an influential point? Why or why not? (2 pts)
5. If we were to add another quantitative variable to help you predict weight, what variable would you suggest? Explain your reasoning for your choice. (2 pts)

Option 1: Create a webpage using code only (Adobe Dreamweaver, Notepad, Visual Studio, W3School Editor etc.)
Option 2: Use Web develop tool (eg. WordPress, Wix etc), to create a website, you can start from already made template, but you will need to use code for some your website elements (eg. a subpage, social media bar, image decoration, styled fonts eg.), all the coding need to be captured in your Final Project Report.

The purpose of this assignment is to employ accounting principles and relevant business practices to evaluate a company’s performance and financial position through a comparison to industry data.Locate the Critical Thinking CT 10.4 problem at the end of Chapter 10 in the textbook. This will serve as the structure for your assignment. Begin by choosing two competing publicly traded companies from the list below.Coca-Cola and PepsiCoWalmart and TargetNike and AdidasFor the pair of companies selected, you will need to use each company’s stock symbol to locate the liquidity, solvency, and profitability ratios on the MSN Money website. As part of your research, you will need to identify each company’s stock symbol for the American market.Review the competing companies’ ratios provided at the MSN Money website https://www.msn.com/en-us/moneywww.msn.com . Navigate to My Watchlist and enter the name of the company in the Quote Search. Identify and select the correct stock symbol.Und

Part 3: Due Monday, December 5, 2022 Use the same research topic that you chose

Part 3: Due Monday, December 5, 2022
Use the same research topic that you chose in week 1. Also use the data that you collected during week 1. If you need to change or supplement (i.e. add new data) the data set for this assignment, you may.
Create a document answering all the questions below. Save your work and submit on Canvas.
This part of the project will be worth 200 points, double the value of the first two parts.

Task #1
You have collected data from a sample of at least 50 elements in your population. But what information would you like to know about the entire population? Would you like to know the mean home price of all properties in your area?

Write 2 paragraphs briefly summarizing the data that you collected from the sample and the information that you would like to INFER about the population.
Choose 2 sample statistics from your data, one PROPORTION and one MEAN. Try to use variables that you mentioned in question 1 concerning inference. For example, You might choose the mean sales price of a home.
Estimate the population parameters by first computing point estimates from your sample data. Then:
PROPORTION
Construct and interpret a 90% confidence interval for the population proportion.
What sample size would be necessary to estimate the proportion with a 2% margin of error and a 90% confidence?
MEAN
Construct and interpret a 95% confidence interval for the population mean.
Do you think that your sample of size 50 is large enough? Why or why not?

Task #2
Next, you will be conducting one hypothesis test. Without considering the specific values of your sample statistics, make a conjecture (hypothesis) about one of the variables you used for the confidence intervals above.
For example:
Matt claims that the proportion of homes with 3 or more BRs in Fairfax county is less than 0.4.

1-State the null and alternative hypotheses using mathematical symbols.
2-Is this a one-tailed or a two-tailed test?
3-State the level of significance.
This will be α = 0.05 for everyone.
p-value Approach
4-Compute the test “test statistic.” You are encouraged to use Statcrunch.
5-Use probability tables (z or t, as required) or statistical software to determine the p-value.
6-Compare the p-value with the level of significance
7-State the conclusion of the hypothesis test. The conclusion should include the phrases “Reject the null” or “Fail to reject the null” as well as a statement in practical language.
In addition to performing the hypothesis test above, write 1-2 paragraphs explaining the relationship between your hypothesis test and the confidence interval from your Task #1. Also discuss what it would mean had you made a Type I or a Type II error in the hypothesis test.

Task #3

Finally, write no more than one page summarizing your entire project. (Double spaced, 12-point font, 1 inch margins.) What did you think of the research project? Did the statistical analysis help you learn more about the topic? For example, you could address the following:
HOME VALUES
Is there any home on your list that seems like a good value?
How much should you plan on spending on a home in your desired area?
